You can see the report below. MediaTakeOut.com has NOT been able to confirm whether Shante indeed has passed. Right now, we're going by the report by TMZ (a site that is owned by AOL and has a staff of reporters and fact checkers on hand).

MediaTakeOut.com has put in calls to a member of the family to confirm TMZ's report. So far we have not received a response.

At 3:19 yesterday afternoon -- while Snoop was getting high live on the internet -- an anonymous tipper called the CHP to alert them of the alleged heinous situation... but apparently it was so ridiculous that no one at the CHP bothered to forward it to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

So this is either really funny... or really, really, really messed up.
