Lark On My Go Kart - It's alright, if I can call it that
Blunt Crusin - What kind of bullshit is this?
I Love College - It's okay at best, it's corny but it's bearable
La Di Da - I actually like the beat on this, the lyrics are good and the beat fits in well with the lyrics and flow
Be Be Myself - Quite an upbeat song, the song flows well, nothing new though
She Don't Wanna Man - WACK
Sour Patch Kids - I really like this, it's thoughtful and the lyrics really mean something
As I Em - He addresses the Eminem comparisons and does it well, the beat is relaxed and mellow but it fits the song well
Lion's Roar - This is a collabo with Busta Rhymes, and shows that Asher can change the tempo of his raps, I don't know what I was expecting from this, it's listenable but again it's nothing new.
Bad Day - His voice does not fit this beat at all, again it's disappointing,
His Dream - Strong lyrics, again when he does this, he seems to do it well, his rhyming is very descriptive and detailed. His slow flow fits in well with the piano loop, the song is one where he delves into how his father has moulded him into what he is.
Fallin - This is about Asher Roth came from a child to where he is now, I like the beat, his rhymes are okay, it's again a very laid back

So to sum it up, this was a very quick summary of what I have heard and I acknowledge I described him as a nerdy white eminem soundalike but I thought I would give his album a chance.

Good songs - Sour Patch Kids, As I em, His Dream, La Di Da, Be By Myself
Listenable songs - Fallin, Lion's Roar.
Wack Songs - Lark On My Go Kart, Bad Day, I Love College,
Really crap - She Don't Wanna Man, Blunt Cruisin

This is really disappointing with a few good songs and even if the attempt was to create something original, it falls flat on it's face. It's not about mainstream or underground it's about what's good and what's not and for the most part, this isn't good.

IMO Nottz should of handled the production. What asher and nottz made with "the reading" was classic.

Sorry, looks like the link has been taken down just type in on google Asher Roth album leaked and I am sure you will find another link fairly quickly.

I know you want to hear this but this should come with an advisory sticker like Encore should have, be warned that the following content is mostly going to be trash.

I really, really like 'Fallin''.

I'm a sucker for those 'back-in-the-day' songs, reminiscing about childhood days over a mellow beat. This is a nice example of that to me.
