Raekwon Announces Guests, Producers For OB4CL2

“The wait is finally over,” Raekwon said in a recent press release. “Words cannot describe how extremely happy I am to work with EMI Music to put out my album.”

Adding that the time has given him an opportunity to strengthen the project, Rae claimed to have a classic in the bag.

“It’s been a long time coming,” he said of the long wait between albums, “and I’ve put my blood, sweat and tears into making this classic album for my fans.”

Many big named producers are scheduled to appear behind the boards for the album. The RZA, Dr. Dre, and J Dilla, are all set to be behind the instrumentals, while he will get help on the mic from members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Bun B and The Game.

Raekwon is also going to be at this year’s Rock the Bells Festival, which will also feature Nas and Damian Marley as Distant Relatives

I was listening to OBFCL last week. It sounds so fresh even today. A genuine pleasure to listen to from start to end. I'm not convinced they can replicate that magic enough to warrant calling this a sequel. It's a bit like my point about Dre announcing the title 'Detox' - the name alone now gives the record unacheiveable expectations in peoples minds.

it was, but the whole point of the song was the NY-Cali thing & i just cant think of anything more that those two together would have something to rap about (well Rae would ).

I bet my left nut Game is on a Dre produced track, he was probably like "yo dawg you know you gotta put me on this one". Nothing wrong with Game being on it, his guest apperances are his strongest suit and Bulletproof Diaries was dope.
