I guess we'll be fighting til tha end of time with this album... i fuck wit it, and 4 million other people fuck with it too.  it's not like they didn't hear the album before they brought it.

I actually bought it before I heard it I had only heard few singles and bought it bcause it didn't cost that much back then. A dissapointing album.

People have to realize that everyone has an opinion, & just because you hate it dont mean its right. This whole argument that "Any sane hiphop head will know this. " is bullshit, basically an elite-is opinion, that some how because you think its crap means it is crap.

The fact is I know many people who either like rap or don't, who like this album, hell people who still listen to "Just Lose It" & "Ass Like That" to this very day! If you don't like it thats cool no problem thats your opinion. My opinion is it isn't a bad album, I've heard plenty of worse albums that Encore. Theres a few lame songs, but overall theres enough quality on there to warrant my purchase of it IMO. Heres my own personal break down of what I like on it

In my experience when talking to people about the song they dismiss it as "that comical track where he disses Christopher Reeves." The song is so much more then that.  It's basically Em's summary of his current career and his rebuttal to the critics.

The first verse was alright but after that it just descends into mindless childish trash. If it wasn't for the fact that Eminem had 3 fantastic albums before this, then Eminem would not have lasted long. I totally agree with you.  The flow and wordplay was above par and Encore had some bangin' ass beats on it.  Yellow Brick Road was personally my favorite.  The only flaw that song had was it didn't have a video to go with it.  Even My First Single does it for me even though he's playing alot in the song because of that damn wordplay even when he ain't saying much of anything.  By the way, did anybody hear Redman murder that beat on his Live From the Bricks mixtape-- one word FIRE!

I guess we just don't agree on a lot.  I don't think the rhymes are complete shit.  What makes them complete shit?  What do you mean worth hearing?  How the hell do you decide what artist should spit about?  What other artist does material like this?
