I was brought up where everyday it rains
Wanna go outside, but it just brings pain
Everyday the same so I pray for tomorrow

The kids don't know 'cause they get the sun
I have to watch as they outside having fun
I don't matter, 'cause my life is all so real
I try hard to live it so I kill how I fell
No matter how bad it gets the night heals
Like a pain killer you can't see the pills
Somedays though I wake feeling ready to die
That's what I'm living for, peace in the sky
Can't kill myself 'cause I'm have to fry
So for my life, I ask God the question why
I'm just living 'cause soon it'll be Christmas
No tree, no presents, but still can't miss
So upon the wishing star I just sit and wish
That I live to see a hundred with my kids
And that someday soon I'll have a new life
A great one with kids and a beautiful wife
But until that day I'm stay living on the run
It don't matter 'cause tomorrow always comes

You see my life I've aways lived day to day
Avoiding rain but as a kid I never played
How you live in America when your pennyless
It's a crime to just write a damn bad check
Fuck it, I've surivived too long to go back
The way of my life, stablity is always a lack
But I still come strong, my past always gone

God make me a suriviver, Momma raised a solder
'Cause both knew the coldness when I got older
So yesterday is gone like it never even exist
My life restarts everytime there's been shit

Yo man.. shit was pretty tight.. It was simplistic but it didnt need to be complex, got your message across and it was pretty deep.. You had a good flow and althou the rhyme scheme was basic still came off tight.

And thanks for the feedback people. That was a written keystyle actually during an e-mail. It kinda came out. I got a poem that I wrote before simular to that in terms of the same name, and consept. But yeah... thanks ya' all... that rhyme was written during some shit on Saturday.
