For the people in the US that read this, don't think it's odd that they're hyped up about an urban radio station, Canada doesn't have very many yet.  Look at it like this, Canadian rappers are just now starting to break in to the industry in a big way, and finally Canadian radio is starting to evolve along with it.  I live in Toronto and we have Flow 93.5, which I think is one of the best urban radio stations ever, and that's including Hot97, Power106 and other big names.  Flow plays a lot of artists that aren't big names around the world, I few people I chill with have airplay there, the DJ's are amazing, and the show "Trauma Unit" throws nothing but straight heat, it's basically a DJ battle, one DJ spins a few tracks, then the other, then people can phone in and vote to determine a winner.  Straight heat. :o
