but to expand a bit, for the people who don't really think for themselves, creating this group of people called 'haters' is a very easy way to help them feel secure with their own shallow opinions.

didn't glasses malone make a song 'haters' where he says haters 'aint saying nothing' yet his own album has been delayed for close to 2 years and still hasn't been released. maybe not the best example but there's definitely some irony there.
