To be honest, I expected more. Alot more...
Some really dope tracks, but also tracks like Whatsha Wan Do (even two versions of this  horrible track ), )9x' outta 10, Jupiter's Critic and the Mind of mars (I agree with ever1 who says worst Quik track ever), Exodus (any Quik Grove>>>>Exodus) + 1 Skit on a 40 minute album = pretty disappointing

- Cream In ya Panties
- Do you know
- The Appeal
- Fuck Y'all

ok tracks:

- Hey Playa (dope track but becomes annoying really quick)

I was definetly anticipating this release as Kurupt and Quik are 2 of my fav. artists even if they are most definetly past their primes. Lately i have been feeling kurupt more than i did for the whole 2001-2007 era. He seems motivated by terrace martin and knows he needs to step up quality.

Now as for this project... WOW, i dont know how some of these songs were released:
Jupiters Critic (OMG this the worst thing ive ever heard)
Exodus (OMG BAD also)
Whatcha wanna do (annoying ass beat, worse: its on here twice!!)

As bad as those songs are, these songs are good:

Fuck yall (this is what everyone expected from these 2!!)
cream ya panties (probably the best on the album, damn this beat is nice!!)
hey playa (very interesting sample and quik rocked it
anniversary (kurupt really spits and the beat is great
do you know (gotta give it up for quik on the beat!!!)
oh! (pretty good beat, i think this is what everyone expected)
appeal - (classic quik and kurupt, what everyone expected)

7/13 are tight....this album is a 3/5 at best and a dissapointment to me being a westcoast fan so i KNOW most of yall wont feel it....I do think they have/had it in them to make the album most of us wanted, but quik is very experimental and i dont think many been feelin it lately. Artists gotta evolve though, i suppose.

to be fair, Hey Playa belongs to the first categrory. My favs is 'the Appeal'  and 'Blaqout' so far. 2 or 3 tracks of the same quality and I would've called it a great album. But so many 'fillers' on a 40 minutes album which we all anticipated that much is kinda disappointing.

I agree with the reviews y'all been making, it's good but there are 4 soooooopa wack tracks that bring the album down.

This is a very slipshod album. A couple of semi-good tracks here and there. I'm not interested of buying this album.
