This shit is wack imo. He sounds so corny trying to act all hood, making his voice sound raspy, again it sounds very forced. Like who wants to hear a 33 year old multimillionar rap about this type of subject ? 50 gonna act all confused again when the formula is simple; yes, we want him to rap with the same hunger and passion he did back in the days BUT not the same subject matter.

At least he still got an ear for beats, lovely production.

Well what is he supposed to rap about then? He is not a lyricist so can't really tell any stories, he sounds corny if he acts hood, then there is these songs with the likes of timberlake and ne-yo.
Fill in the blanks, don't really know what you want. I take all hood with raspy voice much rather than ne-yo and these girlie songs.

i think its cool. Come on Meho most rappers are multimillionaires still trying to act hood (Snoop, Jay Z, Wayne, TI, Luda, Cube etc). Most of his fans want him to go back to his GRODT days and i think thats what he trying to do.

The deep voice reminds me of Ross kinda lol. It was a cool song but the hook was kinda weak.

a) rap about his past childhood life like he did on Curtis 187 and Hate It Or Love It
b) or adress his current topics: Buck situation, Game situation, baby momma, a song about his son, Interscope troubles, pressure of fame, rise and fall of an artist like him...
c) I also don't mind a quality club or "I'm rich" track if it's done proper ( I Get Money)

All of the above hardly rap about hood life, I'm talking about tracks like the 50's one, where he's actually rapping like he's a 20 year old in the hood with no money. They might rap about it but as a concept about their childhood not about them actually being in that situation. Only exception is Jay's AG which was horrible imo. You also gave T.I. as an example, ironically he had a great album in Paper Trail with lots of introspective tracks and addressing his situation with the whole guns incident.

he isn't going to put his best work on this & just waste it when he can put it on his album.
