Who was your favorite teacher
« on: February 14, 2002, 05:24:09 PM »
Ok.... Throughout your school years there had to be a teacher that you liked.... who are they and why?

Mine were Master Gunns and Mrs. Leonard

They help me realize how important school is for a person. Mrs. Leonard even help me with college apps.. and stuff.. and well Master gunns.. is basicly a good friend that help me along my way.

I didn't have one teacher that did one thing to help me in life.  And they could very easily have done something, if they would have attempted to.  It's like Tom187um was saying.  I'm part of that group that slips through the cracks.  I'm white, middle class, average grades, I don't try to make a scene and get attention, we slip through the cracks..... In year or so when I complete 60 hours of college, I'm going to start substitute teaching as a part time job.... I'm going to target those kids that generally slip through the cracks.  Try to make a difference in their lives.

8th grade history teacher Miss Weddell-she was just smart as hell and a good speaker, and talked to you like a friend instead of an autority figure and had a genuine love to teach and to be there for you

Yeah, i think it is good that people have a teacher out there that has made an impack in there lives.

I almost forgot to mention my 2rd and 3rd grade teacher mrs. Ambrose. She work several letter to the court in petition that M dogg and I stay with or father and not be sent with my mother. She is also a big part of me being happy... my mother was just not healthy enough to give us the love we needed  ;D
