"FATAL GUNPLAY AT ‘J.LO' CLUB IN L.A.

One man was shot to death and hundreds of clubgoers poured into the streets after gunfire erupted at a popular Los Angeles Latin music hot spot, police said yesterday.

Singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Jimmy Smits are among the minority investors in the Conga Room, where cops responded to an 11:45 p.m. shooting Thursday, authorities said.

At least 200 frightened patrons fled the club after shots rang out on the second floor, police reports said.

"There was a fight between two people, and one pulled out a gun and shot the other," said LAPD Sgt. Karen Ellis.

Investigators did not immediately know what sparked the deadly argument. Cops are also probing a second shooting that happened outside the Conga Room, located in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles. It wasn't immediately clear whether the two shootings were related.

No one was injured in the second shooting, but bullets struck three cars. The lone victim, an African-American man in his mid-20s, died at the scene, a coroner said.

It is unknown whether one of J-Lo's horrible songs incited the violence...."

Fatal Stabbing At Nelly Concert Lands Three Behind Bars

" Three men, including 42-year-old Steven TeSam, the chairman of the Viejas Band of the Kumeyaay Indians; his 26-year-old nephew Hank Banegas; and an unidentified 16-year-old boy are behind bars for the death of Faitamai Taunuu, 30. Taunuu was fatally stabbed late Friday (October 18) outside of the Coors Amphitheater following a concert by rap stars Nelly and the Cash Money Millionaires in Chula Vista, California.

Taunuu suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack and was pronounced dead on Saturday (October 19). Another man, Sean Bowers, 27, was also wounded in the incident and was hospitalized in good condition. Police have been unable to establish a motive for the attack.

TeSam and Banegas are currently being held without bail on murder and attempted murder charges while the unidentified minor, who is facing conspiracy charges, is being held at a juvenile facility, according to police. The suspects are scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday (October 23), according to defense attorney Eric Hart.

The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, which comprises approximately 250 members, operate a successful casino, bank, and factory outlet in the Alpine, California, area. Tribe member Eric Banegas told the San Diego Union-Tribune that TeSam is a pillar of the community, saying, "Hank and Steven are well-respected people. It's just absurd. There's got to be a reason for this."
