I would say pac has two classic albums in Me against the world and makavelli with the rest of his albums being good to great.

I'm sorry but nas is not better then pac.I love nas but he isn't on pacs level. No rapper has ever influenced the game the way pac has.He has everything, classic albums, world wide influence, incredible songs.Nas is a great but he's inconsistent.

& i am counting 4 perfect classic albums, with the rest near classic to Illmatic lol.

even if Illmatic was one of the best albums ever too.

lol @ 2pac having 4 perfect classic albums

says the Gucci Mane fan. :D

Me Against The World
All Eyez On Me
Makaveli
2Pacalypse Now

& Hack had Thug Life which was a near classic for me lol.

so it's debatable which of his albums are his classic ones.

go re-listen to 2pacalypse Now

I personally think it's his best, besides Makaveli.  too bad Pac cut Days of a Criminal :( :(

All eyez on Me almost deserves the classic status because it started the double CD trend and the production was so far beyond anything else released at that time.Compare that album to the albums that came out the same year and its the only one that still sounds fresh today

If Pac didn't die he wouldn't be anywhere as famous as he is today.  Same with Biggie.

depends on where he took his career.

i think Biggie would have sold out with Diddy & started to make club joints.

i don't know about Pac, he always tried to keep it real street & hood though.

Pac went from an MC that spit about real shit to a watered down version of himself.  He got too emotional and caught up in his self-created thug lifestyle.  Shit ain't that deep.  He made his life a lot worst then it had to be, consistently focusing on the negative.

People love the double cd but I think it's overrated.

I love how people criticize Nas as being a fraud when Pac's REAL lifestyle is even more questionable.

I got love for them both but Pac stans always annoy me.

I don't get how you can call the makavelli album watered down with tracks like krazy, blasphemy and white manz world

For me, there's this general feeling with Tupac after a certain point in his career when he caught up in too much bullshit.  So, I say he's watered down from that perspective.  His time spent was focusing on diss records rather then releasing more of his real records which he still recorded but most were never officially released until post-humous.

I heard he was going to switch up his career again and go back to all real shit and focus on being more community active like in his youth but that's hearsay.

I just shake my head at the shit he got himself into or found himself involved in.  He thought he was untouchable.  No one is untouchable.  I'd rather hear Ghetto Gospel then Against All Odds.
