Protestant sect is much more strict than Eastern Orthodox branches... for example no swearing...
but people don't get fined for swearing so you cannot say its very Protestant...

exactly, all of the political leaders are influenced by religion in some sort of way.

But with the separation of state and religion was meant that the governments decisions can't be influenced by the bible.
