I still bump ghetto d by master p from time to time. He's got some classic songs on there like I miss my homies and bourbons and lacs.

CO-SIGN... "Pass Me Da Green" and "Stop Hatin" are classics too

Master P is definitely one of the best examples in here

"Ghetto D" does have some tight songs on it.  I also like "99 Ways to Die."  It doesn't really change my over-all opinion of Master P as a rapper, but I do feel he deserves to get his credit, where it's due.  Unfortunately, I think his albums got progressively worse.  But I do think he deserves credit for marketing his company successfully for several years, straight.  That might not seem like much of an achievement at face value.  But when you take into account the fact that they were releasing a new album almost every month, for several years straight, it's amazing to me that he kept the craze going for as long as he did.  Especially given that his skill level was...limited (and that's putting it as generously as I can).

Yeah what master p accomplished with no limit was a one time thing that has never and will never be duplicated. No limit was the ultimate movement. They dropped an album every month, sometimes two.All of them would go at least gold. And most of the albums didn't even have videos for the singles.I've still got quite a few albums from them.It was just this weird sensation that once you bought one or two albums you felt the need to buy all the no limit albums.

I will agree that on rare occasions there have been wack beats for 2pac songs.  And I'm not even referring to the posthumous releases (which sort of goes without saying).  I'm talking about a few of the tracks recorded while he was still alive.  "Don't You Trust Me (OG)" is one I've never cared for.  It's not that Pac's verses were bad at all.  Quite the contrarty.  He comes off tight as usual.  But I can't stand the beat.  I'm a huge Pac fan, and there aren't too many instances of this that come to mind.  But there are a couple, here and there.

It was great shit back then, we used to have Ghetto D on repeat all day.
