Doin stuff on your own
« on: July 10, 2009, 03:37:54 PM »
I prefer my own company, people just let you down. I prefer my own company more than any 1 else(no ego) and if it wasnt for society and thier bullshit of lableing you things like billy no mates a saddo or a loner i would do more things on my own.

Sometimes, well alot of the time i like having my own space, to read something, play a game, listen to music etc but theres so much stigma attached to people doing things alone, having a meal being a massive example.

There are so many thing that doing on your own that beats doing with others, eg shopping on your own saves so much time.

Does anyone else like to do stuff lke that on their own or am i the only one that's mental?

Doing stuff on your own is way better, makes you feel you've accomplished something.
Everytime I get a group assignment at school I somehow manipulate the group to do everything, I really can't help it.

Somehow I always feel more comfortable when I'm on my own.

That's my life.

I have trust issues anyways though so. Like, I can chill wit people, they could talk wit me, but anythang other than that, any step further, is nahhh.

I mean I can chill wit chu out on the corner, and have the utmost respect for you, but I'm not tryin' to be friends. That's how it was when I started to develop around 13, so now it just stuck wit me. :D Used to it. It's now my personality trait.

Sadly yes.

In the last 5 years I've lost in order: a grandfather, my mother, an uncle, an uncle, a grandmother.
and that's just direct family.
My dad and I actually celebrated in may because there hadn't died somebody in the direct family for a year =/

And I'm only 16 =/

Yo man. You should look at it as a positive thing.  Because we are always with ourselves one way or another, so if you are happy with yourself, then I think you have an advantage over most people.

Basically, I look at it like this.  Sometimes a person may hang with a lot of people that actually make their life worse.  So it's necassary at some point in your life to completely start over at square one and just be by yourself.  Then, after you are comfortable by yourself only, then you can only add those people into your life who will benefit you.  So that every choice you make is a positive choice, rather than putting effort an energy towards maintaining a bad relationship/friendship.

That goes for anything in life.  You should start with yourself, and then only bring things into your life that increase your quality of life.  However, too often, by the time we come of age we have already inherited so many people and activities in our lives that we really didn't choose to begin with, or that we wouldn't have if we had to do it over.  Num sayin?

okay guys sometimes it is easier to be alone at least you don't have to worry about someone cheating on you or backstabbing,I like to do things alone except going to the movies alone.I often have conversations with God when I am alone and it is easier to have them........no interruptions.......
