this post is sad....not because of what anybody posted. but because i remember when that beat nuts song was considered mediocre by that era's standard. u put that out today and it'd be an instant classic. ; ( i miss the 90's.

The 90's was lovely.. especially the mid-90's.  The best show on television in the mid-90's was YOMTVRap!   About some of the songs posted here...

Nas-If I Ruled The World-  This joint is in my top 10 songs of all times list

Snow- "Informer"-  Somebody probably posted that as a joke, but that's a good song too.  Compare it to "Crank Dat Souljah Boy" a catchy song from today's time's and you will understand how great the 90's really was.  Because they are somewhat comparable for their generations.

Fugee's "FugeeLa"-  First time I heard this song was on YoMTVraps.  It was kind of a different sound, at first I didn't really know how to take it.  Also, I was biased against the East Coast at the time.  Still I loved it, and eventually it would become one of my all-time favorite joints.

...and by the way, I can't agree with ya'll that Queen Latifah was dope.  I kind of thought she was wack, and still do.  I mean, as an actress and as a person she is cool, but her music was always wack to me.

Juice and Set It Off are the only movies of hers I've seen.  I thought they were both good movies, and Juice is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Man, that Nas joint is my jam. Always love hearing that.

I'm an 80's baby though, so I grew up with this shit.
