Finally got a job!

Goin to work on the oil rigs for a little while. Leave tomorrow for 2weeks give or take a few days. Not really looking forward to being gone for so long and working 12+ hr days for 2 weeks straight but the money is good and it will prob be good to get away for a while.

Hopefully all goes well n I stay safe 8) see you in a few. PEACE

is the oil business good over there?

all the small towns around my city all they depend on is the oil fields... at one time it exploded and everyone had jobs getting paid massive, so they all got married, bought houses, new cars, HD TV ect ect...

now here in south texas the oil field is REALLY slow and alot of people lost there jobs and they usually have no form of education (diplomas, ged) so they have nothing to fall back on and get screwed and end up losing everything they worked so hard for


but i heard its kinda picking up again but not as much as before
sometimes we have an Oil Boom and everyone is getting paid well working then there is no work and nobody is doing shit

word thanks guys. And ye AG it was boomin especially a few years back but since the the economy went to shit it took it with it but there is still a decent amount of jobs across western canada.

my only advice to you Ocho is save all tht money you get

dont make the mistake people do around here and spend cash out the ass then when you lose your job you have nothing
cus at any time when the jobs are done there wont be no work for a while till you find some more
