Slam Dunk Competetion Yesterday.....
« on: February 10, 2002, 07:50:26 AM »
damn this shit was waaack, the only good dunk was the last jason richardson dunk. and they were saying that they didnt invite kobe and kobe would have been glad to play this year. Hopefully next year it could be Bryant, Carter, Francis, Gerard Wallace, Jason Richardson, and Mason. that would be tight.

yeah i agree there was only like 2 or 3 good dunks....that wheel thing is gay, they should just let the dunkers do whatever as opposed to making them do something someone else has already done

hell yeah, shit was gay (wheel spin) i mean how the fuck do you expect steve francis do the statue of liberty when he is only 6'2'' with small hands??? and then they gave wallace 7's when he ACTUALLY dunk from the free throw line (suprised me ALOT should've been 10's) dr.j is a great basketball player but he is a extremely biased dickriding voter....he expects them to do exactly what he did in the early days which is nearly impossible although the dunkers did do a good job imitating....i was disapointed with francis though since he was amazing in 2000 dunk contest....next year just let them do it THEIR way not some shit we've already seen and something that is impossible to do for younger players

imagine if Francis would have pulled that dunk off where he tapped the back board and then tried to dunk it, but he lost the handle of the ball. That would have been one of the best dunks i have seen in my life

Ahhh.  Makes me remember the good old days.  Ain't nobody gonna touch Dr. J, Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins, or Spud Webb.

The league probably don't care... they made the same money either way, people are gonna watch it, regardless.

oooohhhhhwwwwweeeee!!!!!!! there was better dunks in the all star game then in the competition.  next year they need to bring back vince, kobe, tmac and darius miles.  this is the reason the competitiom was gotten rid of a few years back was because they were so shitty.  they need to bring the fans attention up and then people will watch that shit.
