Eminem - Relapse 2 - Nov 17th?

Is Eminem's Relapse 2 hitting stores November 17th? Relapse 2 recently showed up on Amazon UK with a November 16th release date which would make the US release November 17th because the US usually gets albums one day after the UK. This would also make a lot of sense because November 17th is a Tuesday and most stores begin to sell albums on Tuesdays. Amazon is usually very reliable for album release dates. Are you ready for another dose of Eminem's relapse this soon?

Amazon sometimes get the dates wrong, and there hasnt been an official word from Interscope yet. Besides doesnt BISD come out in October? unless theyve pused it back till next year

I could see this happening.

Aftermath wouldn't go a 4th quarter without SOMETHING being out there for sale, but at the same time I don't think they'll have the type of build they want for a major album like "Detox" or "Before I Self Destruct", etc....So Eminem's main album ("Relapse") came out not too long ago, and this is just a "followup" to it, therefore gaining promotion just from the fact that they had already been promoting Em's last album just a month or two ago. This release date makes sense to me.

I see this album "carrying" Aftermath through the 4th quarter.

1st of the year = Build up 50's album....release it in late March or so....then around August start building up for "Detox"; which sould have a 4th quarter release, imo.

I sense this: Dr. Dre: You know, preparing for Detox, I put it on hold cause I really wanted to put it down for Relapse 2, I mean I know we finished it already in the original session, its just I wanted to add some fresh stuff to it.

figure 50 won't sell too much & gives people time to get Relapse out of their system & then drop Relapse 2 & it will sell big numbers again.

Dre:Well you know, the entire Relapse 1 leaking was bad, but when Relapse 2 was leaked I was just pissed. I mean shit I lost 5 good tracks do to the leaking, honestly I'm thinking about holding off, until I can find a good way to keep it secure, not only from the blogs but from sharing.

Rumors hit the ‘net earlier this morning (August 21) that Eminem’s Relapse 2 LP would be released on November 17.

XXLMag.com has learned otherwise. According to Em’s longtime manager and business associate Paul Rosenberg there is no truth to the November 17 date whatsoever, despite the fact that amazon.com has it posted on its website.

Relapse 2 follows up Shady’s album of the same name, that dropped last May. Since landing in stores the highly-anticipated album has gone on to sell 1,361,700 copies.

This isn’t the only rumor that has found its way onto the Internet about Em this month. Earlier this week false accounts of the Detroit lyricits death were found on Yahoo News and Twitter.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's fake,  Didn't Alchemist say there was a track called "Insult to Injury" on Relapse 2. I don't see it anywhere on that one.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's fake,  Didn't Alchemist say there was a track called "Insult to Injury" on Relapse 2. I don't see it anywhere on that one.

i think so & the track names look weak in general.

i was expecting Relapse 2 to be better than Relapse.
