Lol @ Walmart not selling dirty versions of CD's but sponsor Gay Pride Parades and selling tons of gay stuff, as if that's clean.  :loco:

*Waiting for some fag to come defend Walmart*  ::)

You won't find a dirty version of an album in Walmart at least in the US.

This Smoke song might be similar or the one that was on DPG 2002..

oh yeah could be, i hope so, was wondering what was the deal to that trak, smoke is 1 of my fave traks of all time, better not be censored

Anyone know if the Wal-Mart clean version will have the radio versions of songs like Dre Day, Let Me Ride, and Nuthin But A G Thang...the versions with different lyrics?  If so, it might be worth picking up for that reason alone.  If the songs are just edited and masked, that'd suck.  You never know if maybe Dre made clean versions of other songs like "Lil Ghetto Boy" etc. in anticipation of making them singles, but never happened.  Maybe WideAwake will surprise us with other songs that have new radio friendly lyrics than the 3 main ones we know about.

I was wondering the same thing. The radio version of "G Thang" is actually dope but if it's all just censored lyrics then I probably won't fuck with it.

I'm guessing this whole different version with Wal-Mart deal was scrapped because if you search for The Chronic Re-Lit, in the search results it shows that it's only being sold online, and not in stores as well.

yeah really, actually all 3 of those singles were awesome, considering the lyrics WERE edited for radio... I hope they have a decent radio edit album - fuck a backmask, hopefully they found the reels, and muted the cusses on the acapella...when a label releases a backmasked radio edit CD, it's fucking bullshit

yeah it was a failure from the start.

Maybe Walmart only sells uncut CDs on its online store, being that you must be 18 years or older in order to order (Given its credit card). or not idk lol Someone just up the song, fuck buying a backmasked piece of shit. Rarely will they ever put radio alternates on a censored album.

I have the clean version of the Gang Related soundtrack, and it's got a few new radio versions of songs with different lyrics, some songs you can't get anywhere else.  One song that comes to mind is Roland's "Freak Somethin".  Lots of new lyrics.  And I don't have it, but the clean version of the Above The Rim soundtrack had clean versions with new lyrics of Pain and Big Pimpin.  Most of the songs are masked and censored, but there were some with new lyrics.  I'm buying the Wal-Mart version of The Chronic Re-lit this afternoon and let you all know for sure if no one has done so by then.

Mind uping the track? Also: That's sorta fucked, how PAIN is on the Censored version of Above The Rim, but I can't get it for shit on the normal release. Well it was a B-side for the singles and stuff either way I got it. lol I finally realized "No More Pain" was a sequel after I found this lol

Well scrapped or not scrapped, according to the website it's not being sold in stores so that blows. I would probably pick up that version if it was.
