before anyone says anything else, I believe the music industry has fucked up. they where blind-sided by the internet & if that wasn't bad enough the mp3 revolution has come.
they should have been paying attention to this instead of the RIAA spending their resources on prosecuting wack music piracy, when instead they could have utilized the invention of Free Lossless Audio formats & other lossless venues, this would have combated the steep drop in CD-sales. Jimmy Iovine & Dr. Dre are the pioneers along w/ loads of others to fix this problem facing the music industry.

I was one of the first to buy the FLAC formats of Relapse when it came out, so there is a market out there for it, they (the music industry) just need to take matters into their own hands.

Thanks for the songs, lovin' this shit. What Death Row video has "Smoke Enough Bud" playing in the background, or maybe it was playing in some album (can't remember).

Smoke enough Bud, was the intro track for  the song You Thought, from the Doggfather record. Its the song wit too short and soopfly

Smoke enough Bud is right at the beginning 8)
Props Escrooge. That's been on my mind since I've heard this.

FLAC formats of Relapse? Can you please inform me what this is, I hate low quality music. I got the normal CD version of Relapse and that was banging in my opinion!

http://www.eminem.com/purchase/ Premium Digital $14.99 all it is, is the EAC of the original CD. I also coped that (the CD) eventually.

don't worry, the CD is as GOOD as it gets, as far as quality. Free Lossless Audio Codec is a precise/compact rip of the CD.  ;D

I bet more than half that have actually clicked that link wont be supporting this release. There's always one fag out there willing to throw up links.. Hay while you're at it, you should throw up the links to the new Warren G album, Daz Dillinger, Slaughterhouse and so on

Take your cape off you FUCKING FAGGOT!

It's because of little morons like you I have it on in the first place. You'll the be the first within days to whine like a little girl as soon as WIDEawake announce they are selling the catalouge to Cash Money - which is a possibility considering Universal would have been willing to put up the money, and have been an interested party in the past before WIDEawake secured the deal.. Oh yeh that's right - Cash Money!!!! Birdy will be all over it, quicker than half this board on a download link

Bow Wow's next album will feature Snoop Dogg, Daz, Kurupt, & Nate Dogg

Lil Wayne's album after that will feature production from Dr Dre, and feature artists: Jewell, Snoop & Daz

^^^

There's the potential future right there.

They've also fkd up by trying to milk artists work, and put out poor quality releases from puppets... The last 10 years for the better part, have been very few quality releases on the mainstream front compared to that of the early 90's. Promotion is put into empty singers with no artistic qualities to them, and the public tire of them very quickly, and all that effort, time, money and wasted TV/Air time is in fact "wasted", but the music label have made their quick buck!

In the UK (don't know about US) you walk into a CD section of any store, and it's "classic" this and "greatest hits" that.. "classic Reggae Hits" and re-cycled music from EVERY genre... Look at the first page of play.com's music and it's "Cream Trance Classics" and "big tunes:back to the 90's" to name a few. The industry know that the last 10 years have offered nothing in terms of filling a 2/3 disc set that people will actually buy,  and it's their fault for pushing crappy music. The autotune is the next bombardment of garbage that - although will probably see a quick sale - will contain little quality that will ensure a place in a "greatest" compilation set a decade(s) down the line. I'm sick of paying £15 for a CD with 3 good tracks, and the rest skippers, and gave up store buying many years ago, and buy from the internet through reviews, sound samples, and overall knowledge or anticipation, because the range now has reduced.

You could go into HMV and find at least 3 DJ Quik CD's. Now there's none, even Trauma

A little bit extreme don't you think? Regardless of old rumours, I can't see the catalogue being sold on just because a few people on the internet download some bonus tracks. Don't you think everyone would have the same problem with people bootlegging? therefore, why would it benefit ANYONE to purchase the catalogue?

Ego's and reps being a considerable reason. Rappers like Lil Wayne/Birdy try their hardest to push a "gangster" image for their current records - hence the reason for the fake blood characters they've tried hard to create for themselves. The thought of being able to use/manipulate/exploit (choose any word you'd like) the Death Row catalouge to further than belief would be a god-sent! Not to mention the obvious of owning an essential part of Hip Hop history, and it's huge unreleased collections

I could have understood if Death Row hadn't already been purchased but that argument isn't valid seeing as though WideAwake own the rights now. A few leaks won't change that.

If there was a rumour about Cash Money you should probably forget about it now! I mean, if they wanted Jewell or Daz/Kurupt on an album they could probably afford them anyway. Why would they want to use 15 year old vocals?!

I'm not even lookin' forward to these anymore, the snippets didn't sound so great and damn, why the fuck did they have to "re-produce" the beat on "Poor Young Dave"?

how do u know they re-produced it?? the one we had for years may be unfinished and this may be the final mix

You can clearly hear that the beat has been touched, i think somebody even confirmed here that the beat was re-made.

No way. That sounds like a more finished & less skeleton beat behind that. Man i wish Snoop could make songs like Poor Young Dave still. He had some fire in his raps back then. Thats why when u listen to Dogg Collar u can tell its doggfather coz Snoop raps changed from doggfather on wards
