Cam'Ron is dope at what he does.  Crime Pays is slept on.

sure, but top rapper? get out of here lol.

I never said he was but I can see why some people would put him on a persona list.

My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter

It didn't suck but it got old real quick. Unless they pick some better production and actually write songs on the next project, they'll be forgotten very soon.

I cant believe the part that was put out there saying Royce is washed up 10 years ago... What he has been doing lately is 10 times better and if he can hold it together for an album for once we may see a modern classic!

production did not match up to the lyrics. the start of the album was a good glimpse of what this could have been, great beats from focus and then alchemist, two of the best tracks...

Album won't last time. It sounds like a mixtape. There isn't one song that sounds like a classic in this album. They just released it 'cause of the hype.

That being said, I don't think it's because of the MC's (except Joe Budden, never liked one single verse from him)  but mainly the production sounded flat and boring. I'm a big fan of DJ Khalil, and I hate what he did for Slaughterhouse. I just can't listen to it.

I mean, imagine this group with classic 90's style beats, it would have been the best album of the decade. Instead of getting vintage hip hop production vibe, they rushed the album. It's a shame, it's one of these albums I really have been waiting for.

Let's be honest guys, even if you like Joe Budden, Crooked I, Royce and Joell, you gotta admit the album SOUNDS RUSHED.  And stop rapping on topics like, I'm good with the pen, I'm a lyrical murderer, blablabla it's boring. Tell a story, be creative. You know, this album is the perfect example of what hip hop is missing these days. It's the link between the producer and the rapper. Nowadays, you send beats through E-Mail or you listen to pre-made beats in a studio. Producers and rappers should be creating together, at the same time, exchanging their ideas.

the generic response you're going to get: "no way! you're a fucking dickrider! my reasoning for Royce being washed up? i don't have one, he just is!". ;D

but i personally agree with everything you just said. ;) 8)
