One quick listen and damn, I can't remember the last album that had so many tracks stand out to me. The whole vibe of the production is very boom bap-ish and it's definitely one of the most aggressive cd's to come out in a long time that doesn't sound like a 2 dollar mixtape.

Perfect example is that Jada & P joint, not something you'd play at your family lunch.

So will you be copping your first CD in a long time?

First it has to stand the test of replay value. I always burn a copy for the car radio and I put the album in the mp3 player when I'm running. The general statistic show that I get tired of todays albums in 2,3 days. Last album that I listened to for 1 month straight was Ultimate Victory (bought that one). But this one is definitely off too a great start.

I like how although RZA did not do a majority of the production on this album, it still has had core Wu-Tang sound to it. Updated a lil bit but this is not a album that you would say it does not sound like something a Wu member would do.

OB4CL II is a muthafuckin classic movie-esque gangster hip-hop record, Cagney.

Haven't checked this out yet, but will soon though.

Masta Killa is one of my favorite MCs.

Woah? I always thought he was one of the weakest MC's in the Wu.

I really can't deny your comment but ...

his two solo releases (no said date & made in brooklyn) have this real genuine feel to them that I appreciate.  They're raw and it's just him mc'ing.  Some of the tracks feel like he just went the booth, spit his best, and put it on the record.

plus, from my understanding, he doesn't do all the lame ass drama that the other members do.  like joell oritz he doesn't speak on drama and stays on the low letting the music speak for itself
Cool breeze; I'm hopping out of new Beams
My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter
I'm a vision of the future climbing the success ladder
Recline, in the mean time, twenty three shine, diamond bling blind as I rewind

Damn, I haven't heard shit like this in a looong time. On track 13 right now and everything has been hard (only complaint so far is that the Alchemist track doesn't have a Cuban Linx feeling-dope track, though).
