"I will make records as big or bigger than Death Row".   -Dre, Source 1996

"I didn't do nothing but make people money and I didn't leave nobody high and dry.  Any album (on death row) people are going to check for.  But it's time for Dre to worry about Dre.  I'm focused on the new Snoop Doggs, not like that but you know what I mean."

Dre -  Source 1996 cover

"Eminem will be bigger than Michael Jackson as long as he doesn't change."

He's right about how Dre organizes his albums. I love in particular how "Dre Day" transitions into "Let Me Ride" and even more so how the outro of "The Day The Niggaz Took Over" flips seamlessly into "G Thang". There's a lot of similar transitions on "2001" as well.

Very true; his sequencing on Chronic 92, and Doggystyle in particular were absolutely incredible

QDIII is right, everytime I listen to The Chronic I notice some new type of element in the song that I did not notice before.
And that "gapless"/sequencing is dope. I like how it makes it sound like a mix.
