Can someone fill me in on what was said, recap the interview  8)

In summary, its a wait and see what happens..

They said... Wideawake is getting shafted by Koch by telling them the Snoop album should only do 35,000 units, explaining Dogg Chit did 100,000 units. Bigg A said it would do 35,000 if it wasnt promoted or marketed. Daz was explaining they were diluting themselves and the artists. Talking about how Snoop would sell more if it were done right. The $15k offer was to get Daz to promote and remix tracks and to sign a release. Wideawake wanted Daz to promote their stuff with Snoop but seems they didn't really get at Snoop about it and Daz was saying he wouldn't do it without Snoop. Daz said that John Payne was around for a split second before he was gone and there was good reason for getting rid of him. They both were talking about how the old shit is dope and the fans wanna hear it but come holla at them when things are straight. They wanna make sure people are paid by Wideawake and things are done right.

There were a few other things too.. but that's the main idea.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the video before it was taken down, so thanks for summarizing it.  I agree with Daz that if they wanted him to promote their stuff with Snoop, they should have spoken with Snoop as well as Daz.  I thought they said that they had already spoken with Snoop though.  But if they didn't, I think they should have.  However, even if the first several Wideawake released don't do big numbers (especially when no one seems to want to step up and help them promote the releases), isn't some money in royalty checks better than no money?  I mean, after all, there was a pretty good chance that Suge was never going to release a lot of this material when it was still in his possession.  Wideawake at least wants to get the material out there.  After all, you can't make money when you never offer anything for sale.  I say Daz should at least wait and see what happens with " The Chronic: Re-Lit."  If things go as planned, he should start to see some money from that.  I'm guessing probably the Snoop Doggy Dogg album too.  At the very least he shouldn't want to say anything too bad about Wideawake.  Whether he agrees to sign any deal with them, he'll be making money off of many of their future releases.

True but judging from the snoop doggy dogg cd'z tracklisting, that cd looks gangster and should do well over 100k plus. They gota promote that shit right. So inorder to promote it right.......they need snoop and he'll come for the right price and wideawake isn't willing to pay the big bucks.

I personally don't care ill download the cd and if i like it....i'll cop it for sure. I don't think they should fumble on the snoop cd b/c how many crazy unreleased snoop can they possibly have? That cd looks str8 and i think has the potential to put them back on the map. But im kinda talkin shit cuz i havent 1 track from the cd ....just seen the tracklisting ....haha
IT'S STILL..........

he got a point though Koch is fucking up this release just like what they did with slaughterhouse
true.
i mean, this is a snoop album from his best years (1991 - 1997), when he was at deathrow, with all unheard tracks.
this album is bound to atleast move more than 100k units. if daz & kurupt's "dogg chit" album (which was released by koch) can do more than 100k world wide, then surely a snoop dogg album can.
maybe they will press up more, depending on how quickly the album sells. they shouldve pressed up more tho. thats ridiculous.

Wannabe bootleggers who claim they have fake OGs and want to sell them for $400 on dubcnn get no love. The real Bastin for one was not a bootlegger or that fucking retarded cause he would already know what's up with the situation here.

Thanks for proving your fake! :)

Yeah I got the Soopafly album online too, Bangin' West Coast, after you bought it you got the link on the PayPal purchase page, you must of missed the link but it was all within the system during the checkout process of the company that hosted it.
I dunno daz was sposed to send the link an i contacted him several times an he kept replyin like "i'll send it homie" an neva did. i've orderd similar things from other places through pay pla an neva hada problem. I'm not assuming there was every guy and his dog called Jermaine who paid $500 for it, but that there was alias's/buying groups in the past who strung together to make high end purchases privately. I can remember a Jermaine name in the past that was indeed 5 people

You should just quit while you're down cause you're making yourself look retarded, there's people on this forum that know who Jermaine from Gangstaville is.

Maybe you should re-read my last reply before eagerly jumping in to try and declare argumentative tendencies... Key points:

1) I'm not assuming there was every guy and his dog called Jermaine who paid $500 for it
2) There was a Jermaine name in the past that was indeed 5 people

& when I say past, I mean around 2002/2003 time. The Mak/Dilli EP was out a good year or two before that, and was stating that Jermaine is a common alias used by people. Why? probably because it was a memorable name for the certainty of providing funds due to the Makaveli Dillinger EP fiasco, but since I couldn't access the DPG Recordz forum back then I didn't know Jermaine on there was 1 person, but regarding other material it wasn't and that is fact

Keep making dumb excuses for your lack of knowledge.. next time don't bother to talk about shit you know nothing about then. It will make you look a lot less stupid.
