Octoberish Hip Hop Albums
« on: September 19, 2009, 04:24:44 PM »
The 'Dark Hip Hop' thread in the West Coast Board inspired this.

I bought E 1999 Eternal cuz a nigga mentioned it, so now I'm looking for some more 'fallish' album type shit...

The Infamous - Mobb Deep
Phantom of the Rapra - Bushwick Bill
The Art of War - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

What else, what else?

Good thread idea.

Mobb Deep - Hell on Earth always had that vibe that felt right as the days got shorter and colder.

This guy aint no crip, and I'm 100% sure on that because he doesn't type like a crip, I know crips, and that fool is not a crip.

I was thinkin' Geto Boys's We Can Be Stopped, but really its just that one song. Rest of the album wasn't really dark like....word up?

It's not dark at all, but Hi-Tek's "Hi Teknology 2" is my favorite 'fall' album.
