It's not dark at all, but Hi-Tek's "Hi Teknology 2" is my favorite 'fall' album.

Thanks, will check out

When I think of seasonal albums, I play the albums that I bought during diff. seasons. Death Row really had a knack for releasing seasonally appropriate albums (still remember 1st time I bought Murder Was The Case and Dogg Food-both October albums). They def. have that October vibe (Dogg Food was actually a Halloween release). The Bones soundtrack and Bone Thugs' "Thug World Order" also come to mind off the top of my head (both October releases). Tales From Tha Hood soundtrack is also a good one (though it was released in the spring).

Others I just remembered: Speakerboxxxx/The Love Below ('Kast), Food & Liquor (Lupe), Thug Stories (Bone thugs). Though, these were mid-late Sept. releases, they still remind me of fall  8)

Thought I posted, but can't find it, lol. So, I was saying, "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" ('Kast), "Food & Liquor" (Lupe), "Thug Stories" (Bone), "Stankonia" ('Kast) just came to mind. All those albums are mid-late Sept. releases ('cept for Stankonia-another Halloween release). All of these remind me of fall. Goodie Mob's "Soul Food" (released early Nov.) also has a nice fall vibe.

i think House of Krazees "Season of the Pumpkin" does the best job at a Halloween theme rap cd
