Device Drivers For Wireless Router?
« on: September 27, 2009, 02:40:02 PM »
I have a Netgear Wireless Router (model WGR614V7). I want to hook it up so I can get online through my Mac as well (I'm on my PC right now). But I don't have the CD anymore that came with it so I don't know how to get the Device Drivers for it. Can anyone hook me up with a link to download the device drivers? Thanks fam!

asswipe.
I googled for about a half hour before I created this thread, but everything I kept coming up with was some different bullshit saying I needed to buy something.

I don't need the drivers for the MAC. I want to install the router on this PC, and then the MAC will recognize it wirelessly.

first hit. jesus.
+1

Now, next step...

It's all set up on my PC, and both my MAC & my iPhone can see & connect to the router. But when I try using the web on either one while connected it just times out & never opens a page. Both say I'm still connected, but not sure why it's not letting me browse or anything. Any ideas?

Man I've tried everything. I'm thinking it must just be a setting I have incorrect, cuz otherwise my phone & the MAC wouldn't be able to recognize & connect to it. I'm lost with this.

why would u need a driver for a router? just don't seem right to me

i mean the shit is stand alone and sends out the wireless signal by itself
if u need to configure it just log into it, the address to point ur web browser to should be printed on the bottom of the router also the login info, if the login info was changed it will not let u in, just reset it by holding in the reset button for like 20-30 secs then try again
