LMAO @ this hater
Must be refeering to yourself on that one because I've always been a fan of both Dre & Snoop. I wasn't the guy saying Dre hadn't made a hot beat in forever and now that he's fucking with Snoop again, it's all love.

For some reason im not that excited by this, its good to see game and dre working together but i cant help but think snoop is the weak link at the mo.

Snoop the weak link on a Dre track?  you really are dumb

Snoop on a Dre track is as good as hip hop gets

Was as good as it gets, now a days im not so sure.

now a days you not sure?

the last time Snoop and Dre hooked up was in 07 on BCT for Boss Life, Imagine, Round Here, all three were fucking banging

Definitely agree with that, I don't think Snoop and Dre have EVER cooked up a wack track together. Everything has been either classic or a straight banger. Game, Snoop and Dre, this could definitely be a single for Detox...

WOW!

Dont u have a life outside the internet?

Whats WOW is when you win the lotto or get laid.

You groupies are funny getting excited at a pic haha
What do U think? My JOB is Hip-Hop. Of course I do. Get off my nuts and I will continue doing what I do best 8)
lol, don't bother Luna  that poster is one of those death row internet 'scene' geeks ;D

The pic' probably taken while recording a track for 'Malice In Wonderland', Snoop setting it up no doubt.

Now that the Dr seems to have comeback to his senses temporarily, he should give his once wrongly dismissed sidekick a chance to write and inject some Compton style hip-hop into the Detox album.
what do you mean with that?
we don't know what happened behind the scenes.
besides, he signed The Game & executive produced his first album, so it ain't that simple.

I don't get why the Game groupies have to see this as Dre picking Game over 50 or a L for 50. How do we know that 50 doesn't care if Dre works with Game now? Anyway good news. Just hope Game can step his levels up...
Exactly. It's always gonna be a division thing. People can't just leave it with that's it Game working with Dre again, they have to make it into some bigger thing. 50 is a business partner with Dre on Slim Da Mobster's deal and Dre seems to have done a lot of producing on 50's new shit so it's doubtful he's Xing him out of the picture to go work with Game.

Well in all fairness it was a few years ago, but when the whole Game/50 beef was going, I remember 50 saying something to the effect if Dre did "side" or work with Game, he would threaten to leave Interscope. That was why for the longest people wanted Dre to comment on the whole situation but he said nothing. Smart.

I think that is where alot of people would ask the question what would 50 say. I really do not see the big deal about it.
Dre has worked with Nas :)

now a days you not sure?

the last time Snoop and Dre hooked up was in 07 on BCT for Boss Life, Imagine, Round Here, all three were fucking banging
If Dre had given the same beats to somebody else, you would have said they were garbage so it is what it is.
;D haha, on point!

For some reason im not that excited by this, its good to see game and dre working together but i cant help but think snoop is the weak link at the mo.

true, Snoop has fallen off big time, but don't forget about his mentors Dr.Dre & The D.O.C !
with the help, Snoop can do it right.

I want to feel excited about this but I've got a feeling the track (if ever released) will be mediocre

I hope Dre has got a gang of crazy hot new beats that he's keeping secret, and that he doesn't just do another boring slow track with claps with a nondescript piano melody

If it is a Just Blaze production, that's maybe a bit more exciting than a Dre piano beat, but Blaze hasn't really made anything that's ever blown anyone's wig back, he makes just OK beats

Snoop hasn't been an exciting dope rapper since 94-95, so I don't know why anyone would be excited about that - I can already hear his voice in my head doing the same verse he's been doing for the past 10 or so years

And Game has never dropped an interesting verse before, he's not horrible, but c'mon, Documentary was dope because of the beats, the only people who think Game is a good lyricist are kids who are obsessed with his gangsta credentials and don't really listen to music for the music, they just listen because it's meant to be from a hardcore gangsta or some shit

It'd be dope if he had DOC, Lady of Rage, Kurupt, RBX, Royce Da 5'9" in the studio, you know, some actual MCs who might be able to bring some flavor to a track and flip something we haven't heard, but Snoop is going to do his usual Snoop verse, Game with do his usual monotone verse with no interesting flow, and it'll all most likely be over a cookie cutter piano Dre beat

I'd love to be wrong though, and hear a Dre beat of the quality of Doggystyle/2001 with a Doggstyle-era Snoop and Game stepping his rapping game up, but I'd put money on it not happening

oh come on UCC, not you too :P
all of a sudden, you don't like Dre's sound anymore?

great, that means it'll probably gets shelved :P

all of a sudden, you don't like Dre's sound anymore?

I like tracks here and there, and I hope he's got a bunch of those really good ones saved up, or ones that are even better

I don't get where all the samey piano ones are coming from though or why he's making them?

Either:
1 - he's trying to make some really awesome piano beats and the ones we hear for other people are the leftover ones that didn't make the cut, or...
2 - he works on "proper" beats for Detox which are nothing like the piano ones, then whenever someone comes to him for a beat for something else, he just quickly cranks out another piano beat on the side

If it's explanation 2, then maybe he sat down for one month a couple of years ago and just did nothing but make that type of piano beat, and now whenever someone comes to him for a beat, he just gets one from the cupboard full of piano beats he has

that's just his current trademark, just like he had G-Funk in the 90's. so off course you'll hear similarities.
i can understand if you don't love the sound, but you seem to take a step further with your criticism by addressing Dre's formula.
that's cool, but i just can't understand how you can like Dre's past work at the same time, as it follows the same formula.

i'm really trying to understand your view, but right now it doesn't make sense to me ;)

You can definitely hear who's the makin' the beats for Dre. Now that Storch and Elizondo are back with Dre i hope we get some good music.

All i'm sayin' is that you can hear the difference when Dre is workin' with Storch or Elizondo compared to the newer material he has done with Mark Batson and others.
