I think it showed that there are a lot of white people that truly are not racist and will vote for candidate no matter what his race. But it also showed that there is still a LOT of racisim in this country.  There were a LOT of people voting against Obama because he is Black. And not just white people. 

Quick lesson on American elections.  You do not have to win 100% of the votes to get elected lol. As a matter of fact, you dont even have to win MOST of the votes to get elected.

That assumption is a ignorant one. Middle Class White America is ignorant to lower class americas problems (That's for damn sure) but that doesn't automatically mean they are Racist. Yes, obviously this brought out many racist, but because of this many Legitimate criticisms were clouded and ignored. Obviously the previous administration, the parties involved, the countless press on MLK Jr's dream possibly being a reality, Its obvious the Media Bred this into a Race thing.

Obviously because of the Media the media constantly did a variety of stuff to make this "The First black president" to the point were you'd think he wasn't half white. Anyone not familiar with this election, the platforms, hell everything, if they viewed All the Media on this, they'd think that was the only reason.

Even with every Minority voting for him, Majority would still have main control.Everyone aside from the racist voted for him.

But again The Race issue shouldn't even exist, the media pretty much bred this into one.

The fact is No one wanted a Republican again, the Bush Administrations press, Destroyed any chance of recovery for a long time, He didn't choose a retard as a VP. The Republican Campaign had ran its self into the ground. Palin was horrible choice, and it was obvious she was used strictly to garner the Women vote Hilary would of got. She failed every Debate, her Public Relations was virtually destroyed with all the pranks, parodys, and soccer mom demeanor. Obama's Media Relations was done in a Much better Demeanor, his Campaign talked about Hope, change, and a better future.

There is so many factors on this, Its mind blowing. Everything laided in.

But even you have to know that there are some blacks who never voted, nor even gave a damn voted for him cause he was black. Racist people who never voted before probably did the same thing.
