Hell yea there's still racism.....where the fuck do u live to where u need somebody to explain this? I live in LA and see it so I can only imagine whats goin on in the south today.
Yeah, all I hear in VA is "I'm not racists, but the only reason that ass hole is in office is because all those blacks voted for him that never voted before".

lol, that is some bitter talk, but you know as well as I do there's truth in it.

i was paying attention during the elections and there were a lot of white people backing up Obama because they didn't like Sarah Palin. Plus, Bush left a big ass mess so they might as well give the spot to a black man because the only way is up right about now or give racist ppl another reason to say why niggas need to be in a zoo.

What percentage of America is made up of Black people? I mean cmon. And what percentage of Black people voted in this last election?  When White people say shit like, "he's only in office because Black people voted for them" they make themselves look stupid as hell.  The amount of Black people that might have voted for Obama simply because he is Black, doesnt come anywhere CLOSE to the amount of White (and other races, especially hispanic) who voted AGAINST him cus he's Black.

Ok 1. Its known that The black vote was a record turn out then any previous election.
2. There are people who voted against him
3. But its clear that even with every black/mexican/asain vote Whites still hold the majority of voters, obviously no one wanted another Republican and not a single person wanted Palin (Even repubs) she pretty much represented Bush part 2.

1. Obviously.  The day we have a Hispanic candidate the Hispanic vote will break records.  The other thing to consider though, is that in previous elections (we know which ones) there were so many issues with Black voters being turned away at polls, etc.  Would have been very difficult to pull that shit during this election
2.  Of course. There are people who voted for him, because of his politics. People who voted against him, because of his politics. And then there people who voted either for or against him based on race.  Seeing as how whites make up such a LARGE percentage of the country, Id assume (probably a pretty safe assumption as well) that there were more people who voted against him due to race then those who voted for him.
3. True. Nobody wanted another Republican.  Not to mention the side show they had goin on during this election.  I mean,  McCain put the election above the country IMO.  He chose Palin as a tool to win the election even though she is no where NEAR qualified to run the country should he die (which his old ass could lol)

That assumption is a ignorant one.

No its not. Im not sure if you got my point.  What percentage of people (not just white) do you think allowed race to influence their vote in this last election?  Remember there are a good amount of Hispanic people, etc that did not vote for Obama because he is Black.  Seeing as how Black people make up a relatively small percentage of Americas population....I think the amount of people who voted against Obama due to race would out number the amount of Black people who voted for Obama because of race.  Thats my only point.  Were there more White people that voted for Obama then White people who voted against him because he is Black?  For sure.  But the argument that Obama got into office due to the fact that Black people all voted for him because he is Black is fuckin ridiculous lol.  He got into office for one reason. He was the better candidate.
