damn this year only 4 will participate. last years winner, and runner up which are Desmond Mason and Steve Francis. with the newcomers Gerald Wallace and Jason Richardson.

Im thinking steve francis will win this year, they should have more people in it though.

4 contestants is pretty much a joke. I hate what a diva Kobe and Vince have become by not wanting to join the thing that has put them over the top in popularity.

its not even a competition ne more. kobe, vince, t mac, miles, kg should all be in it. last years sucks big balls. they got rid of a few years back cuz of the way it is now. then they bring it back and everyone wants to do it then after that nobody wants it.

Man, the slam dunk contest sure not what it used to be. I thought it was gonna start being good again when Vince won it a couple years ago. But really its just at the point now where there isnt much more creativity that can be put into dunks, not much more can be done.

But I think Francis will win this hands down.

Yall gotta rememba, it was more exciting back in tha day...because it was reletively new. now u see a crazee dunk in every game u watch. n their runnin outta new ideas. lol
