New Jihad Music & News Regarding Name Change - By : Mil - November 12, 2009

We've just been informed that Jihad, regularly featured here will now be releasing music under the name Deen, which means "way of life" or "belief" in Arabic.

All his upcoming projects will be coming out under the new moniker Deen, including a compilation mixtape he put together with DJ Warrior and DJ Joey Slick. The tape is mixed by DJ Stone and also features DJ Rocky Rock as a special guest DJ. The tape is titled "Unity Vol. 1: The Middle East Meets Japan" and features a bunch of international artists from the Middle East and Japan.

Released through Rebellion Records and Joint One, the goal of the mixtape is to bring Unity amongst artists from different regions and to help introduce them to a worldwide audience.

We have a new track, "Rhyme", which is the lead single off his upcoming Southeast Asian influenced album titled "Rebel Lion" and is produced by Dubai based producer, Punjabisha. It also appears on "Unity Vol. 1: The Middle East Meets Japan".
