^we already named for him the good hip hop from the South.

dude is just bitter that we don't like his shit music, that describes his brutal hood life about chains & cars. ::)

Ludacris, T.I., Chamillionaire, B.o.B., Scarface, Killer Mike, Z-Ro, Bun B, Buck, Outkast, Trae, Devin The Dude & Slim Thug.

with the exception of a few i might have missed, that's really all the South has to offer that puts out dope music.

this was established in the 3rd post of this thread, but he insists on talking.
TI, Slim Thug?  :eh:

^^ y r u coming n2 every post like ppl wanna hear from u.  i told u 2 stay tha fuck outta mines.   :-\   ur a demon stuck in my nightmare, GO AWAY!
ahahahahaha ;D

you bring up race saying i don't "understand" your music, now you bring up race for this? kind of racist; although i clearly am bothering you a lot on this board so i don't blame you for hating the white man lol.

see? you called my time here a "career", you think this is some job or duty? i come here to fuck around & give my opinion, you're here to fit in & make a "career" out of this, you stay losin' lol.
modern slavery :D

iight booboowalkoff, u lucky i fucks with the west.  but imo the West has put out a lil more shittier music than the south has.  we win by default, we've had more artist out verses the few the West has had that ever made anything bumpable unless u were from Cali.

yeah, GET YOUR WALK ON; you're LUCKY that Radiotube "fucks with the west"; OR ELSE... :baseballbat:

anyway, it's two different styles, it's all opinion; we've heard your opinion Radiotube, time & time again.

GET YOUR WALK ON, you clearly are reppin' the West.

personally i'll take the West over the South; the new kids who don't got the spotlight right now are as tight as anybody out.

but we can argue South vs. West all day; all-time? easily the West; right now i guess the South has the spotlight, but i wouldn't say it makes them better.

it's just like how sales don't determine how good music is; popularity doesn't determine whose better.

so just take your opinions and keep them, this thread is already 4 pages too long; sorry lol.

yeah, well it's all said and done now, the west only had 4/5 golden years over 10 years ago.  but the south, we've always dropped gems, we just didn't have the same promo.  i can betchu back then if a lotta ppl woulda heard the underground scene back then we woulda been just as competitive.

I know it's all a matter of opinion but there seems to be this dominant opinion that being commercial means you make bad music.  Get off your high horses (to those of you clearly on them).

Not all of commercial music is bad, but a lot of it is. Why do you think they call it "commercial"? Its the type of music that the labels decide to push onto the public, and at this point in time the commercial single has devolved to follow a formula that they think will sell.

what makes u think ur so right and most people feel the same way (i can finds millions who will disagree over and under the age of 25).  it just sounds like u don't get out enough.  pushing the same old argument about "commercial" music just makes the music sound a whole lot better after a while especially when it's not half bad.

If ya like it, bump it. If ya don't, leave it alone. Big ups to the artists in the South, East, Midwest, and the West putting it down.

Why do you think the same type of songs get played over and over again? Why do you think only a certain type of rapper gets signed to major labels? Because its a business. Back in the day when record execs were first trying to sell hip hop, they didn't have a formula. That's why the music you heard was more varied. Now they do have a formula. Its only now that people are starting to realize that the formula is bullshit.

Go read up on payola and come back with some knowledge. Clear Channel Communications (your lord and master) is getting sued for it and investigated every other year. They own most of the market, they decide what gets played and what doesn't. And guess what? They get a fat stack of cash for pushing that new single on you. You, that kid buying into the system and wanting to bump "what's hot", regardless of quality.

that kid is going to be something. 8)

but he has a different sound than the artists that are "hated" on from the South.

he's got some deep music, he doesn't rap about money & bling & shit.

ummmm the formula was gangsta hardcore carbon copy artist of the top artist on DeathRow and DefJam.  that's why GFunk got played out quicker than crunk music.  you're just a hater, there's no reasoning with u if u can't look past the $ being made.  reasoning with u and trying 2 get u 2 talk about some trill shit is impossible, you've done nothing but fail this whole time.  u can't recover now, u've shown ur colors and ignorance.
