Well, i didnt think Nas could answer to Takeover (which was the better song btw), but Ether was a SCATHING DISS.  He ripped Jigga, although i didnt like the beat as much as Takeover, but at least it didn't have a corny ass chorus (ROC running this rap shit, etc)...........

At first I thought the disses were sharp and dope.
But when he said "Cock-a-fella" & "Gay-Z" it was pretty childish.

A good diss, but childishness dragged the total down.
Considering that Takeover only had one verse vs. Nas, I got to to vote Takeover though.

It was much better than I had expected, I wouldn't have
thought Nas would come out that hard... he got some pretty mean punches on that song. Good battle track, but it didn't beat "Takeover" Imo.

The very first listen made me feel proud of Nas, lol, he got so much stick after "Takeover" that alot of people just doubted him and when I heard it I was like 'yeah, thats gonna slap a few people in the face'.

First I heard 'Pac... I was HELL NAH... then the beat dropped, and I was let down, I figured that 'cause of the beat, people will say he lost. Then he spit, and it was over, I didn't think he'd do Jigga like that. Afterwards, I was like, it's over. Jigga was too cocky to answer correctly, and Nas ended it.
