OK, finally got a copy...had to go to a best buy way out in the middle of nowhere.  They only had 1, so i had to buy it over the phone, but at least i got it.  It's not in best buy's computers at all, i guess each store only got like 1 copy.  That's all this store said they got.  

Oh well, it's a great boxset, with the exception of no new Soopafly songs, but the Like It Or Not video is on there, so that's cool.

Is someone going to post up the sped up version of NBK with Sam Sneed?  Or can someone pm it to me.  I'm loving that song, but i'm not so sure about the slowed down version.  I can't tell if that was intentional or not.  The chorus, when the guy talks, sounds normal, so maybe that's the way the song is supposed to be.

that pissed me off also..i didnt put them back in it, i had one of those "chubby" jewel cases that holds 4 cd's so i put it in that. i'm gonna scan the covers to go in the case

I picked mines up at FYE in southern california and they had at least 5 of them that they kept over the counter. I'm guessing they got a good distro deal to get so many copies.

T-Shirt is actually decent when you get all the wrinkles out but def looks like it will shrink.

I haven't heard it yet, but I'm guessing the the version of NBK with Sneed on it was slower in the first place. I don't see them time stretching the song for no reason. But it will sound as though it was altered because we are so used to hearing the released version. I remember when "Don't Stop" with 2pac was released on Dogg Pound 2002, everybody was bitching because they thought Death Row slowed it down. What they didn't all realize was that the bootleg rip that had leaked previous to that, was a tape rip or something that was unintentionally sped up. When you dub tapes at high speeds this was a very common thing that would happen. With NBK, the situation is a little different, but the same premise: we're so used to hearing the other version that the new version sounds wrong if it's at a different speed.

Also, love him or hate him, I don't think anybody can deny that the presentation and packaging looks pretty damn good. At least from what I see in these photos.

I ripped all the CD's to my computer then burned them to a MP3 CD.  I'll probably never take those CD's out again.
