new jack swing was from 87-92? what would u call the songs that u upped then, if it aint new jack swing? vybe, nuttin nyce, etc. all these g-funky rnb was comin out 92-97 i guess, so how i describe that?i always thought it was new jack swing..

I'm surprised no one brought up Sista in this thread considering DeVante produced the group's debut album in the mid-90's. Listening to some of those tracks reminds me of how many Jodeci/Boyz II Men/New Edition rip offs there were back in the mid-90's. Funny thing is that they're much better than most of the R&B that's out now.
