T.I. - What You Know
T.I. - Whatever You Like
T.I Ft. Rihanna - Live Your Life]
Jay-Z - 99 Problems
Justin Timberlake Ft. T.I. - My Love

lol
I knew people would laugh at all the T.I. but am I wrong? He said numbers wise.

Whatever You Like shattered a billboard record. And then Live Your Life shattered the billboard record that Whatever You Like just did  :D

These are all self explanatory

R Kelly - Ignition

also, if you count R&B too, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo & Akon had their fair share of hits.

are you talking about other genres as well?

no, but R&B can pass at hip hop now-a-days lol.

No single of this decade has made an impact on the game like in da club.
I think that this was probably the biggest hiphop single of this decade.

I'd say Hey Ya had more impact than In da Club. that song was universally popular, even beyond the rap world.

Well if your going that route crazy by gnarls barkley was massive and went beoynd the rap world.I heard that song on every radio station of every genre.

it doesn't have to be a number one single, but for the record; "Run This Town" was the number one single.

actually Empire State of Mind was no 1. Run This Town only made it to no 2. And it was Jay-Z's first no 1 on the Billboard.

we should split these up into each year (example: best songs of 2000, 2001, etc.)

Black Rob - Whoa
Jay-Z Feat. UGK - Big Pimpin'
Eminem - The Real Slim Shady
Nelly - Country Grammer (Hot Shit)

Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg featuring Nate Dogg - The Next Episode (can't believe no one mentioned that one yet!)

honestly, even though as a song, it is probably the best on named; at least 75% of everything else named did more successful in terms of sales.

Yeah you're right.  But Next Episode can still get the crowd goin more than any of the Nelly, Luda, Eminem hits.  Radio and club spins, this song is a monster

Jim Jones - We Fly High (Ballin) - that was pretty big back in 06-07

Pharrell & Jay-Z - Frontin - though more of an R&B song

As much as I hate to say it, gotta be some Ja Rule on the list too

Young Joc - It's Goin Down
