No single of this decade has made an impact on the game like in da club.
I think that this was probably the biggest hiphop single of this decade.

I'd say Hey Ya had more impact than In da Club. that song was universally popular, even beyond the rap world.

Well if your going that route crazy by gnarls barkley was massive and went beoynd the rap world.I heard that song on every radio station of every genre.

it doesn't have to be a number one single, but for the record; "Run This Town" was the number one single.

actually Empire State of Mind was no 1. Run This Town only made it to no 2. And it was Jay-Z's first no 1 on the Billboard.

we should split these up into each year (example: best songs of 2000, 2001, etc.)

^ haha word. I'm going to see what I can come up with, shit's hard.

2000:
Black Rob - Whoa
Jay-Z Feat. UGK - Big Pimpin'
Eminem - The Real Slim Shady
Nelly - Country Grammer (Hot Shit)
Nelly - Ride With Me
Outkast - B.O.B.

honestly, even though as a song, it is probably the best on named; at least 75% of everything else named did more successful in terms of sales.
