well, it doesn't bother me.  i have nothing to hide. just as long as it doesn't affect the way i live my life i'm okay with it.  but we'll see in the coming months whether or not this will cause a dramatic change.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I don't feel it's that big of a deal, either.  It's just the president trying to make everybody happy by actively DOING something about terrorism.

^^ Do you realize how little interaction we have in america with the government?  The only constant connection I have with them is paying taxes.  They can pass nearly any law, and it doesn't affect me very much at all.  Taxes/Fees/etc. are about the only control they have over me.

So having people around you (that you know) being paid to spy on you isnt at all worrying at all. This is exactly what the SS did under the Nazi's.

Could you show me where it says that citizens will be required to spy on eachother?

here;'s one story. i cant find the original which basically talked about how local people would be paid to watch and inform on other people over periods of time. paid citizen spies... just like the SS had.

U guys really think anyone on here is gonna be spied on?  Hell naw.  U know how expensive that would be to spy on every person in the US.  I ain't trippin on shit.  they gonna stereotype like a mutha fucka.  If u white u ain't got nothin to worry about.  they gonna go after the muslim, and people of other races, people with criminal backgrounds, shit like that.
