Are you talking about price elasticity?  If a product is inelastic, it's pretty much gonna sell regardless of the price...like tobacco, booze, rare shit, etc.  If it's inelastic its ability to sell is very affected by the price.  thats all i got bruh

i took Micro 5 years ago so I don't remember shit from the course lol.

all I remember is that i got an A overall, and that I had to write 80% of the course in the final week which was stressful as fuck but I kicked ass.

% change in demand
% change in price

If the price changes from $200 to $270 you take away the 200 from the 270 you get $70.  You didivde $70 by 200 to get 0.35. On top of that the deamnd changes from 90 to 70 sales. You take away 70 from 90 and you get -20. -20 divided by the original sales, 90, euqlas -0.22222 recurring.

-22.22 (multiply the -0.2222 by 100 to get a % and round it to two decimal places)
35  (the change in price multiplied by 100 to get a %)

-22.22 divided by 35 = -0.635 (to 3 significant figures)

-0.635 is negative and closer to -1 hence the demand for the good is price inelastic
