BOSTON -- The Red Sox already have two aces in their rotation. Now, they have reportedly added a third. Citing sources, Sports Illustrated's Jon Heyman, says free agent right-hander John Lackey has agreed to a five-year, $85 million deal with Boston on Monday. Earlier on Monday, it was reported that the Red Sox were having Lackey take a physical, typically an indication that a free agent is on the verge of signing. Lackey will join Jon Lester and Josh Beckett in what would have to be considered one of the most formidable rotation trios in the Major Leagues.
