Can't believe y'all is wasting time on this piece of shit.  Beyond Drop the World the album is ass.  He needs to stay in hip-hop or just die.

I didn't like "On Fire" when I heard it on the radio but now after hearing it all the way through and realizing it samples one song from Scarface it gets a pass from me, but the rest of this album other than the tracks I named was  :-X

so 3/12 tracks = not good at all, stay in hip-hop Wayne, without the autotune  8)

lol this is probably gonna be horrible. This whole "leak" seems legit, but I find it weird that the album has 4 "Shannell" appearances (who clearly Young Money isn't even pushing enough to put her on their first single for their album) and there is no Drake appearance  :-\

could be a little Carter III approach; saw the leak last time got him three million.

just get these songs out there & make some more shit.

wayne bought all the carter 3 copies lol
cot damn this album is assssss why the hell made him think he can be a rock star?! (Drop The World Is Great This Is The Wayne I Wanna See)
four words..

1. American Star - Love the beat on here. Wayne's performance is 50/50 lol. Some lines are cool but some parts are ass. Shanell is pretty decent on here. - 3/5
2. Prom Queen - Awful. - 1/5
3. Ground Zero - Horrible. - 1/5
4. Da Da Da - Wow, wtf. - 1/5
5. Paradise - This beat is hot. His performance fucks this up though. - 1.5/5
6. Get a Life - WOW. - 1/5
7. On Fire - I thought I heard good things about this? - 1/5
8. Drop the World - This is more fucking like it. - 4/5
9. Runnin' - This beat is cool and the song starts off ok but Shanell ruins it. - 1.5/5
10. One Way Trip - 2/5
11. Knockout - Nicki Minaj is the most annoying "human being" on the planet. - 1/5
12. The Price Is Wrong - Wow. - 1/5 (this really deserves a 0/5)
13. Die for You - 1.5/5
14. So Over You - 1/5

Obviously the worst album in his discography, but much more than that. Probably the worst album released all year and it wouldn't be bold to call it one of the worst albums released in 5-10 years. This makes "808s & Heartbreaks" look like a fucking masterpiece lol. Seriously, not even dissing Kanye, but his "I wanna switch my style up" album was a lot better than this, wow - and I HATED that album when it fist came out (still not a fan but it's miles ahead of this).

This makes me question the intellect of Wayne and the executives around him. So you've been rapping for 10+ years and when u FINALLY reach the height of your popularity, instead of riding the wave of your recent success, you decide to do something totally out of left field and it's about to seriously back fire on you. Fucking idiots lol.

It'll be interesting to see what Universal does with this. They should just shelve it and never released it. Having it release and flop (I think it honestly wouldn't fair well in the sales - I know it's 'Lil Wayne' but the early leak + the word getting out of the album sucking will hurt them bad). Releasing this will only hurt his career.

Take the L and move on. He needs the vacation he's about to get to get his head straight lol. Come outta jail hard with Carter 4 and it'll be all good.

Peace.

i went into the album with no bias or expectations.

i can honestly say that i can vibe with a few tracks; it's trash though.

not a big Rock fan, so i can't really compare it to anything & call it the worst Rock album of all time lol.

VIBE WITH IT, MORE OF YOU WILL ENJOY MORE OF IT.

i like the random verses he sprinkles around lol.

7. On Fire - I thought I heard good things about this? - 1/5.

like I said, only reason it slides with me is because the song it samples is from Scarface  8)

Seems like people decided that it's gonna suck before they heard a single track. I only skimmed through it once and it sounded cool. Great production wise with a distinctive sound through the whole album. Haven't really concentrated on Wayne but I figrue it's gonna be like Kanye's 808. Nothing great but something different and enjoyable.

Now that Young Money album, that one sucks.

That's why u don't see how bad it is yet. Kanye on 808s was better. Wayne sounds cracked out on this or drunk the entire way throughout. A lot of random noises, ad libs and just random shit. Auto tune is one thing (Kanye) but auto tune mixed with rock (this album) is a worse good mix.

I've heard On Fire, Runnin and Drop The World in full and I didn't see the difference between this and Carter 3 Wayne (voice wise). But maybe you're right, I'll see when I give other tracks a proper spin.

Drop the World is easily the best track. Wait until you hear Da Da Da, Get a Life & The Price Is Wrong.

And also for the record, there is nothing that sounds/is as good/remotely close to "drop the world" - it actually doesn't fit on here at all.

Edit:

Meho: Told u so lol. My review isn't exaggerating or making it seem worse than it is.
