<---Email all of those and as a real true Death Row fan would do - show your disgust for this shit and bang on 'em. LOL.

The music industry is on a break till after New Year, so you know - we won't get responses right off the bat but I am coming out swinging. By the way, don't send emails to DeathRowMusic - that's Hyland's shit. We must all work together to prevent this release from seeing the light of day.

DONT COMPLAIN SO DAMN MUCH!

Why aren't you glad they do put out unheard music and that they don't let some random mixtape DJ fuck it up?

I'll be glad when I download this (as this won't come out over here) and listen to it. Something is better than nothing.

I hear what you're saying about people complaining, because there's been some complaining about every release Wideawake has put out so far.  Personally, I could tell the mixing on the first two projects was shoddy at best and downright bad at times, but I never cared much because we were at least getting unheard music.  I was actually pretty happy with their first three releases, and thought that in some cases people were taking their issues with them too far.  But this release is just a waste.  It's a waste of their time and money to put it out.  And it's a waste of our time to even download.  I agree with you that "something is better than nothing."  But if you look at the track list, this barely qualifies as something.  There's really only one unheard song.  I can understand them wanting to release a Kurupt cd because he is one of their more well known artists.  But why re-release "Against the Grain" under a different name when they could put out an actual cd of unreleased material from Kurupt.  I not only dislike this cd because I have no interest in it.  I dislike it because in my opinion, it's a misstep for them as a company to put this out.  Mark my words, they will not make money off this release.

Wait is this a hoax? Is this a compilation or a redux of against the grain...it's not an 'OG' and it's not stuff of the EP...

Really not exciting...and where's Kurupt's pic? That honestly looks like a bootleg like that Kalifornia compilation that came out in Europe.

With all of the material that they have, they're basically re-releasing Against the Grain with a couple of unreleased Kurupt tracks from his second term on Death Row?  Negro please.

This release looks like complete bullshit. They should have put out the OG Against The Grain and added a bonus disc with bonus songs. This is what the tracklist should have looked like if it was done properly.

1. Speak On It - (featuring Val C)
2. Anarchy
3. Throw Back Muzic
4. Deep Dishes
5. Stalkin’
6. Can U Feel It - (featuring Potion)
7. Slide N’ Slide Out - (featuring Eastwood/Big Tri/Young Tone)
8. Against Tha Grain - (featuring Big Tri/Young Tone/Eastwood)
9. Jealousy - (featuring Roscoe/M.O.P.)
10. Past, The - (featuring Dave Hollister)
11. My HomeBoys - (featuring 2Pac/Eastwood)
12. Bullshit & Nonsense
13. No Vaseline Pt. 2
14. Hustlin’ - (featuring Big Tri/Young Tone)
15. It’s A Wrap
16. One Thangs Fo Sho
17. One Thangs Fo Sho (Reprise) - (featuring Danny Boy)

Bonus tracks

Only Gotti
In Case You Didn't Know
Trouble In The Streets
Dedicated
Boss Me Up
Frontline

Not only is this tracklist the OG Against The Grain but half the bonus tracks are actually unheards from '02, minus Boss Me Up & Frontline.

even i gotta agree that this is a bad release, they really need to re-think this one, play around with the tracklist. pull out a few more unreleased tracks & switch it up a bit...i will still cop it for collection purposes but i believe this will be changed before they release this  :)
