I enjoy the whole album front to back.  Don't skip a single song.  I don't know about you but to me an album doesn't have to be absolutely perfect on every song.  Every song doesn't have to be a banger.  I think Pac had a nice mix of different types of tracks and I enjoy all of them.

Some of the filler songs are just down right pathetic.

It had some fillers no doubt but to me it's still the best Rap album ever made.
The fillers in BOOK 1 I have to skip them everytime (Pain, War Stories and the world famous Phone Number) but the ones on BOOK 2 is str8 West Coast laid back feel good music, I like 'em all (Check Out Time it's the only weak to me but it's still pretty good).

When We Ride is the presentation of the Outlawz, great lyrics all written by Pac I think and bomb beat by Pooh, Thug Passion is one of my favorite (The Outlawz were weak, but the beat was great and DJ Quik killed it with the talkbox), Hard 2 Find is a filler but it's a party with his Bay people, it had to be there and finally Holla At Me to me it's on the same level as Against All Odds, one of the best disses ever.

And personally I'm kinda tired of "it's not deep like...", why 2Pac has always to be deep in his lyrics... what's up with Snoop, Dre and the whole West Coast who's never been deep... he did Life Goes On, Mad at Cha and God Can Judge Me which are among his best, he had fun with the rest.

even tho it wasnt Pacs best lyrically album, but flow-wise he killed the beats.. and it has dope production on every song! I know some ppl here dont like "whatz ya phone #" but i can listen thru this whole album without skipping a single song! Prob the best overall album from DR! 7Day Theory might be better, but Alleyezonme got songs for every mood imo.. id give the album 5/5!

peace

i second that! a song for every mood! a complete album

The album is deep, it may have just gone over people's heads.

quik's involvement with this album in terms of the mixing is what takes AEOM over the top and gives it that 'classic' status. its the reason why the sound has not dated much and it still gets love today.
