What's Good Way To Rip DVDs?

I can't find a good way that doesn't take forever? The best way I can find now take about 2 hours for one 60 min episode.
I'm ripping a TV series and it's over 100 episodes. It's going to take my FOREVER doing it this way.
I don't care what format it is, .mkv, .avi, .ISO, .mpg, whatever. I want the file size to be about 700mb.
