The original release date was march 16th or 23rd but Joell said that it'll be delayed so he can promote it / from what I understood he'll record some new songs too.


edit. this mixtape has more universal sound/ really smooth, and novel is rapping verses too. And I believe this doesn't have songs that didn't make the album, he has Pre-Agent mixtape coming before Free Agent & I'd assume that has more those joints.

Lot of material which Joell Ortiz is known for, talking about struggle & real life issues but also about the music industry. (I've only listened to this once so kinda too early to tell..) Also, almost all the beats are original (I think) and there's a reason why this is Joell Ortiz & Novel mixtape, because Novel has verses too, not only hooks. And he can rap too.


Fuck it, this is dope, if you like Joell Ortiz's music, you'll love this mixtape.
