curtis jackson is, together wit Puffy Combs, the biggest papergangster of all time in hiphop, and one of the biggest papergangsters in music period -- this guy studied the rap-game like a russian spy on a mission, since he came in 10'years ago and got richer/more powerful than everybody else in less than 5 years, since his debut came out in 03. he's the definition of "succesful" - and nobody has ever acchieved "king"/"godfather"-status in such a short period of time.
hate him/his music or love him/his music - but nobody can ever laugh at him, or call him "washed-up"/"loser" woot-woot -- he even knows it himself, dat is why he is such a fuckin prick to everybody. he's full of himself

Its not fair to say he's been in the game 10 years. His debut album dropped in 03. If were going to include the grinding years then you have to add a lot of years to every artist.

He is the discovery of Jam Master Jay (of Run-DMC) and Poke & Tone of legendary production-squad The Trackmasters.. and musicaly, he is a product of the rap-group Onyx, since he ran wit 'em before he started G. Unit wit Bang 'Em Smurf..
he was featured on mainstream/retail-albums back in 1998, and was almost singned by Puffy at one point..
