Why do people commit suicide or want to commit suicide, or homicide.   Here's the short answer.

They feel their life is out of their control, that they have no power over their life, and that killing themselves or someone else allows them to have the ultimate power.  The power of  playing God.  Choosing when it is their time to go.  They are the final desicion maker.  The ultimate last word.

If you think you don't have any power over your life.  You are right.  If you think your life is out of control.  You are right.  Man has no power.  All the power is with Allah, the most high, the most beneficient, the most merciful, he begeteth not, nor is he begotten.

yeah the could be depressed or a alcoholic or something and kill themselves while drunk/high/on some sort of medication ..
plus not everyone belives in Allah.

Personally i think that it's a load of shit!?! People commit Suicide cuz they're fed up, and don't want to go on cuz they see no reason why. or some other shit, not cuz they want control!

I agree that we have no power over our own lives but our life is not out of control. God is in control of our lives. I don't know if that is a Muslim belief but Christians believe that God has control and power over our lives but he still allows us to have a free will.

I agree with that 100%. Although people do kill themselves because they are fed up with life, most of the times they blame it on God and think that by taking their own life, they are somehow getting the last laugh. Same with Homicides.

And some people do it just to do it.
