1st half of the album is pretty cool. Not that big of a fan of MGMT, but this album isn't so bad.

This is more of a proper album than 'Oracular Spectacular' imo. However,  I like dancy indie pop MGMT more than neo psych indie rock MGMT.

I used to despise their fans. They act like they're tough ass skaters and they wear those hearts with triangles over them (i forget what the fuck they're called). Because romance metal went along with skateboarding perfectly lol

That seems to be somewhat of a concenus, that they don't have those few poppy songs and that it is more psychedelic indie rock.

I def loved their quote unquote poppy stuff, but I def dug the 2nd half of OS...that one joint of moons birds and monsters or whatever was fucking sick so I'm def interested in hearing what they do here.

I think it'll prolly be an album I have to listen to a lot to really feel exactly what they are doing. I'm cool with that, I'd rather have that than something that I can figure out on the first go round.

And u gotta respect that they didn't sign with JayZ or tour with U2 outta principal. These dudes are not stupid.

Not a fan of U2, but they have picked some cool to amazing bands to open for them.  Arcade Fire and Interpol being the stand out bands that have done so.
